TOUCHPOINT!

TOUCHPOINT COFFEE was born during a difficult chapter in the life of my friend, Jimmy Watson . A former Navy SEAL, combat veteran, and one of the most disciplined men I’ve ever known.

During the pandemic, Jimmy spent 18 months on house arrest following his time working alongside the late John McAfee. It was a period marked by uncertainty and intense pressure, but it also became a turning point. While Jimmy faced the legal system head on and ultimately moved forward from that chapter, we created a roast named after something deeply rooted in his operational life:

“TOUCHPOINT.”

In Jimmy’s world, a touchpoint was the exact location where he kept his sidearm. The same spot, every mission, every deployment. Muscle memory, Discipline, Instinct.

When social media platforms cracked down on certain words, Jimmy jokingly referred to it as his “90210 side piece” a coded way to talk about something he relied on without triggering TikTok’s filters.

That idea, the place where you keep what matters most, always within reach became the inspiration for this roast.

A Warrior’s Journey

Jimmy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1999 and completed multiple deployments to Afghanistan (OEF) before transitioning to Blackwater USA. He served in high-stakes leadership roles across Kabul and Baghdad, leading Counter Assault Teams and operating in some of the world’s most volatile environments. His mission sets took him across Central America, South America, and Southeast Asia, including anti-piracy work in Indonesia.

Jimmy’s service is marked by numerous awards and commendations, including recognition for continuing to fight after being wounded while repelling an insurgent attack. When the dust finally settled, Jimmy lit a cigarette and said:

“What else was I going to do?”

After earning his degree in Organizational Leadership, Jimmy completed BUDS and graduated with SEAL Class 283, serving as point man, sniper, Team Leader, and Naval Special Warfare Operator First Class. Over two decades, he completed 12 combat deployments and countless other missions.

In 2017, he retired honorably from the Navy and later served as CEO of Team McAfee for John McAfee. The chapter that followed was challenging but it did not define him.

From Pressure to Purpose

 Today, Jimmy has rebuilt, redefined, and risen. He has become a successful online creator, motivator, and storyteller, inspiring hundreds of thousands of people with his authenticity, humor, and refusal to quit.

TOUCHPOINT COFFEE now represents that evolution, not a symbol of hardship, but a symbol of grounded strength.

A Roast with Loyalty Behind It

 Jimmy no longer needs legal assistance, but I still choose to support him, not out of necessity, but out of respect for the journey that inspired this roast and the friendship behind it.
